  1. Turn off the water supply before disconnecting any fitting.
    Cierre el suministro de agua antes de desconectar cualquier pieza.
  2. Remove the old showerhead and clean the exposed threads on the shower arm. Remove any old tape or debris.
    Retire el cabezal de ducha anterior y limpie las roscas expuestas del brazo de ducha. Quite la cinta usada y cualquier residuo.
  3. Wrap the included PTFE thread seal tape around the exposed threads at the shower-arm connection.
    Enrolle la cinta de sellado de roscas PTFE incluida alrededor de las roscas expuestas en la conexión del brazo de ducha.
  4. Screw the adjustable holder onto the shower arm by hand until secure. Do not overtighten.
    Enrosque a mano el soporte ajustable en el brazo de ducha hasta que quede firme. No lo apriete demasiado.
  5. Check that the sealing washers are seated inside both ends of the hose. Connect one end to the holder and the other end to the handheld showerhead. Hand-tighten the connections.
    Compruebe que las arandelas de sellado estén bien colocadas dentro de ambos extremos de la manguera. Conecte un extremo al soporte y el otro a la ducha de mano. Apriete las conexiones a mano.
  6. Do not apply PTFE tape to hose connections that seal with a washer.
    No aplique cinta PTFE en las conexiones de la manguera que sellan con una arandela.
  7. Turn the water on slowly and check each connection. If a leak appears, turn the water off, reseat the washer or reapply PTFE tape at the shower-arm threads as appropriate, reconnect, and test again.
    Abra el agua lentamente y revise cada conexión. Si aparece una fuga, cierre el agua, vuelva a colocar la arandela o reaplique cinta PTFE en las roscas del brazo de ducha, según corresponda; conecte de nuevo y vuelva a probar.

Where to use PTFE tape / Dónde usar la cinta PTFE

Use it: On the exposed shower-arm threads where the adjustable holder connects.
Úsela: En las roscas expuestas del brazo de ducha donde se conecta el soporte ajustable.

Do not use it: On hose ends that already seal with a washer.
No la use: En los extremos de la manguera que ya sellan con una arandela.
